Started his career in Generalexport in finance and economics.
CFO for seven years of Genex’s Yougo-Arab company, one of the first offshore companies that covered business activities in the Near and Middle East. In 1989 he started to work in Genex Bank as Deputy Director, in charge of contacts with major banks and financial organizations, as well as in special financial and commodity transactions and debt purchases on secondary markets.
He founded East Point Holdings Ltd in June 1990, with headquarters in Cyprus, and then opened subsidiaries and representative offices worldwide (Yu Point in Belgrade, representative offices in Moscow and another 10 countries).
East Point Holdings Ltd was one of the largest companies in region that had invested in Serbia and became owner or co-owner of a number of companies in milling and baking industry, as well as of two factories for non-ferrousmetals processing. It was a leading grain trading company in the region.
Point Int d.o.o. was founded in 2011 in Belgrade and its main activities are wheat and corn flour production, posesses mill and silo in Sombor and Backa Palanka, production of coolers and heaters (owns a factory). Within the company is also Bioenergy Point registered for operations in the area of renewable energy sources. A Serbian market leader started the production of wood pellets in his factory in Boljevac.
Formerly actively practicing sports, he was the national pioneer and junior champion in breaststroke swimming, member of the national team and then coach of the national swimming team.
Father of three daughters. Tijana graduated in law, Andrea is a law student and Lidija attends a school.
