Graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. Began his professional career in 1981 at Yugoslavia Commerce where he was CEO and Chairman of the Board and then director of companies in the UK and Russia.
In the early 1990s co-founded ITM, a company engaging in distribution, logistics and manufacturing. ITM has collaborated with world-renowned companies and brands such as Sony, Nike, Gillette, L’Oréal, GlaxoSmithKline, Unilever, SCA, Tommy Hilfiger, Siemens, Bosh and others.
Today, ITM is the holding of 15 companies operating in 7 countries, with 1,500 employees. President of the Serbian Association of Corporate Directors (SACD), Vice-President of NALED Advisory Board; Vice-President and member of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President of the Serbian Employers’ Association, member of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists, National Competitiveness Council of the Republic of Serbia, Council of the Ministry of Economy, National Economic Revival Council, member of the Task Force of the National Reindustrialization Council and member of the Managing Board of the Junior Achievement Serbia.
Also active in the management of sports organizations: member of the “Red Star” Sports Society for many years, of the “Red Star” basketball club’s Managing Board and President of the “Red Star” Football Club. Today, he is the President of the Board of the Tennis Association of Serbia.
Active in the field of culture and arts – supports and sponsors the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra projects, theaters, exhibitions and funds, including the Laza Kostić Fund and the Solidarity Fund.
Received the international management awards from Sony and Nike for his achievements. Presented with the Businessman of the Year award in 2006, the Businessman of the Decade award in 2011, as well as the Businessman of the Year (Planet Business Award) in 2011.

Married to Snežana, with whom he has three adult children.
