Privrednik hosts an exclusive dinner during the 21st World Congress of Economists

As part of the 21st World Congress of Economists, one of the world’s leading international gatherings of economists and scholars, Privrednik Club had the honor of hosting a gala dinner for representatives of the International Economic Association (IEA), Nobel laureates in Economics, and senior officials of the Republic of Serbia.

The dinner was held at Privrednik Club and brought together distinguished guests from the worlds of economics, academia, business, and government. Among the attendees were Nobel laureate Professor Eric Maskin and some of today’s most influential economists, including Elhanan Helpman, Dani Rodrik, Wendy Carlin, and others. The evening was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, as well as representatives of the companies that supported the organization of the Congress.

Guests were welcomed by Veselin Jevrosimović, President of Privrednik Club, who highlighted the significance of bringing the 21st World Congress of Economists to Belgrade. He also noted that this prestigious event is being held in Central and Eastern Europe for the first time, as well as that events of this caliber provide an exceptional opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, exchange knowledge and ideas, and further establish Serbia’s presence on the global economic and academic stage.
