The Assembly of Serbian Business Club “Privrednik” has elected Veselin Jevrosimović as the organization’s new president. A digital pioneer and founder of Comtrade, one of the region’s largest technology companies, Jevrosimović brings decades of experience in the technology and business sectors to the role.

Jevrosimović succeeds Zoran Drakulić as president. In his first public address following his election, he emphasized that the Club has a clear and important mission: to serve as a bridge between the business community and government institutions, foster cooperation among companies, and actively contribute to the modernization and improvement of Serbia’s business environment.

At the beginning of his address, the newly elected president thanked his predecessor, Zoran Drakulić, for his contribution to the development of the Club. He also acknowledged the responsibility that comes with the position.

“I am grateful to the Club’s members for the trust they have placed in me. I see this trust as a responsibility to contribute, through my work and dedication, to achieving our shared goals and improving the business environment in our country,” he said, adding that innovation, stronger connections, and partnerships are more important than ever if we are to create the conditions for sustainable growth and the global competitiveness of the economy.

Jevrosimović went on to outline several key priorities that will shape his work as president of the Club. These include establishing a young business leaders’ club and investing in younger generations, supporting innovation and digital transformation, and strengthening education and knowledge-sharing. He also highlighted the importance of these initiatives and the role they can play in shaping the future of the business community.

He also emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation with government institutions, with the aim of positioning the Club as a constructive and reliable partner in developing policies that support businesses and encourage new investment.

“Serbia has enormous potential, and Privrednik Club has the strength, knowledge, and resources to drive positive change. Through collaboration and dedicated work, we can contribute to building a modern, dynamic, and competitive economy,” the newly elected president concluded, thanking all Club members and partners for their support.
